Project Summary
Schindler Projects was appointed as the Programme and Development Manager for The Innovation Hub, South Africa’s first dedicated science and technology park. This landmark initiative forms a key part of the Gauteng Province’s strategy to drive innovation and promote the growth of the information technology (IT) sector both regionally and nationally.
Spanning 121,000m², The Innovation Hub provides a dynamic environment designed to support businesses across multiple high-tech industries, including:
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Electronics
- Life Sciences
- Defence and Aerospace
- Advanced Materials and Manufacturing
The development fosters collaboration between entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry stakeholders, creating a vibrant ecosystem for technological advancement. To support this, The Innovation Hub offers world-class shared facilities, including:
