New VW Polo EV Assembly Hall

This project involved the installation of equipment at the VW EV Assembly Hall in Emden, Germany. While the project was already in an advanced stage, it faced significant challenges when one of the key contractors, AE Industries, enlisted our support to assist with the final stages of project delivery. The installation scope included a new skillet line, featuring lifters and turntables, as well as JIS lines for seats, cockpits, wheels, and bumpers, alongside all related support steelwork and complete electrical installation.

Schindler Project’s role in the project was to develop and manage a comprehensive, integrated installation program, incorporating all subcontractors and procurement requirements. This program was closely monitored on a daily basis, with progress reports regularly provided to the AE Industries team to facilitate coordination meetings with all involved subcontractors.
